Hi! We're Riggs and Katie! We are both adopted dobies. And we're "lap dobies," which can be challenging because of our size. Riggs (left) is a handsome, still active, 90-pound, 14-year old boy, adopted when he was 3. Katie (right), is a very, very active, 75-pound, 4-year old doberman girl, adopted when she was one.

Although Riggs has slowed down quite a bit, he keeps his weight under control, loves walking around the yard (slowly), sleeping, and looks forward to Brandy's visits where he gets lots of cookies and his face washed! His favorite foods are fortune cookies, any kind of cheese, and steaks (no preference on how they're cooked) - in fact, he's been known to steal steaks off of the plate.

His favorite toy is "tuggy," because it involves having his owners play with him tugging and pulling. He doesn't have the pulling strength that he used to, but he still has a lot of fun with it. He also loves having his ears scratched. Katie, who has recently recovered from knee surgery, loves to run and play - and chase squirrels, deer, foxes, and any other animals that venture into the yard.

Her favorite foods are tomatoes, carrots, and grapes. She enjoys her chewy bones, cuddling, and being touched - as much as possible. Katie is absolutely attached to her owner, and used to have quite a bit of separation anxiety whenever he had to leave the house (like, for work every day). But, she has become much better as she has matured into a beautiful girl and has calmed down a bit. Now, she enjoys sitting in her "sunny spot" every morning and basking in the warm sunshine.
